These tours are arranged for clients who prefer an individual approach and they offer a look into the unknown world of rare animal species, for example Wild Cat, Wolf, Otter, Lynx, Chamoix, European Bison, Brown Bears, Red Deer. It is possible to combine this programme with visits to places abundant in birds, flowers and insects. For those keen on plants and flowers, we offer the BOTANY programme which will take us to the richest plant localities including the famous orchid meadows. For birdwatchers we offer a few special programmes. We also offer excellent opportunities for all those who try to capture the images of the world on film. These tours will be of special interest to small groups, couples or individuals and are led by experienced guides with expert knowledge of their local surroundings. You have to decide if you prefer to come from Vienna, Kracow or Prague. Transfer from Vienna to our hotel in the High Tatras takes appr. 7 hours of driving and Kracow-High Tatras appr. 4 hours. We may stay for all days in the same hotel with very good standart and excellent cuisine. This 6days itinerary is focused on Brown Bear, Wolf and birds in Slovak Carpathians. The High Tatras are not large but rise dramatically from valley of Vah river and from there we have fairly easy access to hide and by lift to Alpine zone. Whether you will choose Vienna of Kracow airport, we should be able to spend the first evening after arrival in observation post or hide. Maximum people for observatory is 8. If group is bigger, we may split group and arrange special programme for rest of people. The best time for watching of Bear is morning and evening and if we stay for 3 days we may guarantee 80 - 90% of success to see Brown Bear. It is more difficult with Wolf, as you can imagine. The High Tatras is also good place for Lynx, Chamois, Marmot, Otter, Red Deer, etc. Sometimes you can see more Bears from watching site as our bear expert this spring - 8 animals in one afternoon!!! The best time for Brown Bear is the end of April and beginning of May. We may arrange also autumn watching of Bears in October-November. There are lack of birds in that period of year comparing spring tour. This programme is offered on discount rate. Tour may be combined with culture excursions as the area is interesting by traditional settlements, museum, etc. The area is also important from botanical point of view and offers excellent botanical localities.
