KATARINA BRANIKOVA
Katarina lives in Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia. Though originally she comes from Bratislava, the area of small hills and lowlands, soon she started to discover pleasure of walking and trekking in bigger Slovak mountains, such as High and Low Tatras, Slovak Paradise, Mala and Velka Fatra , etc. Later this hobby has turned into guiding and mountain tour leading. She spent some time in England, studying English and Spanish and travelling. Back in Slovakia she has worked for several British and English companies, guiding groups in Slovak mountains. She also worked for Israeli, Polish, Dutch companies taking groups round cultural sights of Slovakia. She is pretty good expert of Slovak folk music, dances, culture and she is always keen to share her knowledge with clients. She has been working for Atypus since 1996.

BOHUS MURIN
Bohus Murin is a foremost Slovak ornithologist. He spent whole his life exploring forests in the north of Slovakia. His knowledge of local bird species is far beyond that of any other ornithologist active in his area. Results of his lifelong work havenīt been published yet but on the contrary he own the biggest bird library in Slovakia. Bohus is also experienced as a guide. He has recently accompanied for example David Attenborough, Ornitholidays, Naturetrek, Sunbird, Limosa or Birdquest groups. He is not only friendly and very patient but in the same time is able to listen to all bird voices - and sort out and track down the best species. We never failed to see Wallcreeper with him and range of other birds he can offer is no less fascinating. Bohus is 43 and speaks good English.

MARTIN HROUZEK
Martin Hrouzek grew up in the southeast corner of the Czech republic. He is 29 and started with walking in the country twelve years ago. His passion for birds lead him to all parts of native countries in the former Czechoslovakia and has travelled widely through most of eastern Europe. Though self-taught he speaks English very well. At the time he visited school Russian language was prefered and he also learnt German for nine years. He combines language abilities and trained legs with interest in local culture, history, meals, and folklore and is a specialist in looking for those country routes not mentioned in public guides. He likes to follow paths that promise breathtaking views of his beloved country Slovakia, though lives himself a few miles beyond the Slovak border. Martin is always able to choose an easier route and therefore you can enjoy the trip at your own pace. His keen eye and very good knowledge of birds, flowers and other wildlife together with young enthusiasm has made him always a good choice. Martin has been leading groups for six years and is tireless in helping others to reveal beauties of nature in the heart of Europe.

JIRI MEWALD
Jiri Mewald comes from northern part of Czech republic - Giant mountains region. He graduated in 1991 in ecology of forest. After finishing of the university he entered department of the nature conservation of Krkonose national park. Co-founder of Czech expedition society, which main aim is to promote saving of world culture heritage (including expeditions to Madagascar and Mexico) and publish articles in magazines, had a film running on Czech TV etc.. C.E.S. is only czech member of Royal Geographical Society in London. Ethnography began one of his hobbies except others like photography, everything around nature conservation and also ski and mountainbike, when he took part in some mountainbike races .

BOREK SEEHAK
After degree from ecology on Mendel University at Brno, he spent some time of travelling. Later start to work as a mountain tour leader. He guided number of groups with different interest within central Europe. Co-ofounder of Czech Expedition Society, he travelled and photographing in Mexico and Madagascar. When he is not leading groups, he is hiking with his daughter. Keen phographer, diver and biker.
